The Tobin School

It’s Been Another Great Year at The Tobin School

The school year goes so quickly! It seems like it was just September and now we are facing the last few weeks of school. I wanted to take a quick look back at our busy year!

  • We were excited to kick off our 19th year here at The Tobin School!
  • We had our school picture days
  • PreK, Jr KindergartenSD and Jr KindergartenFD headed off on their Apple & Pumpkin Picking Field Trip to Honey Pot Hill Orchard
  • We kicked off our special subjects with Yoga with Ms. Sandra, Animal Science with Mr. Matt, Spanish with Ms. Livia, and weekly PE with Coach Gus and Coach Tim.

  • We joined together with children all over the world to read the same children’s book in honor of Jumpstart’s Read for the Record
  • We held our annual classroom Pumpkin Decorating event, always a favorite!
  • We began our Action Bus gymnastics optionals for Jr Kindergarten students

  • We held our 18th Annual Tobin Family Volunteer Day where we welcomed Tobin families and teachers to work together to support a variety of good causes

  • We held our all-school Pajama Day and enjoyed Pancakes for Snack
  • We worked together to sponsor local children in need through the Natick Service Council Gift Drive

  • We kicked off the new year with lots of cold weather fun but, sadly, only a few days of snow play

  • We celebrated our 100th day of school
  • Learned about the Lunar New Year
  • Enjoyed our Valentine’s Card exchange

  • All our Tobin students colored beautiful pictures of our school to decorate the Morse Institute Library to show off The Many Colors of Tobin for their mini-golf event
  • We were surprised by some mischievous Leprechauns on St. Patrick’s Day
  • We learned all about how to take care of our teeth with Natick Dental Partners

  • We started off April with our campus Scholastic Book Fair
  • We celebrated the Week of the Young Child with a concert with Stacey Peasley for Music Monday, enjoyed a Pizza Lunch on Tasty Tuesday, planted pansies on Work Together Wednesday, worked on our masterpieces on Artsy Thursday, and ran our own mini-marathon for Fitness Friday
  • Showed off all our amazing creations at The Tobin Schools Art Show
  • And collected change to help endangered Snow Leopards

  • We celebrated our wonderful educators during Teacher Appreciation Week
  • PreK, Jr KindergartenSD and Jr KindergartenFD had a wonderful Field Trip to the Franklin Park Zoo
  • Enjoyed learning about the Worry Cloud with children’s book author, Christine Carlucci Evans

  • We held an amazing Field Day
  • We are excited to learn more about water safety with Goldfish Swim Schools
  • And we were so proud of all the hard work our Tobin students accomplished this year!

Thanks for a wonderful year!
Can’t wait until the next one!
