Tobin Celebrates Week of the Young Child in April
The Tobin School will join early childhood programs around the nation and around the world to celebrate how young children’s “early years are learning years”! For the third year in a row, Tobin will participate with a week of special activities.
We’ll be celebrating this year from Monday, April 24 – Friday, April 28, marking each day as follows: Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work-Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, and Family Friday. Previous year’s activities have included special guest musicians and instruments on our playground, a school-wide Taco Lunch with class-made salsas, planting projects to spruce up our Tobin grounds, collaborative art projects, and artwork for our families. Can’t wait to share all the details from this year’s festivities.
Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration promoted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Tobin School received accreditation in February of 2017 with this esteemed organization and proudly works to uphold the very highest standards of education and care for our students.
